After the problems with the US gov't shutting down the big three poker sites, True Poker has assured poker players that it will remain business as usual for the poker room. Here's an exact quote from them "The Yatahay Network will continue to take US players and give them the poker experience they are looking for."
Carbon Poker is part of the Merge Gaming Network. It is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and is one of the few online poker sites I know of that hasn’t had a major scandal or FBI investigation launched against it (not yet anyway, as of 4/22/10.) Carbon Poker also offers 35 % rakeback which is one of the highest percentages out there and they allow US players.
Cake Poker has been making some moves as of late bringing in some of the better known poker pros Phil "The Unibomber" Laak and Doyle Brunson.
